Import a list you have

Bring an existing list of companies into Saleshunt — a CRM export, a sales-ops CSV, a manual collection — and enrich from there.

Already have a list of companies you want to work with? Skip the chat-based ICP discovery and bring your data straight in. Once it's imported, the rest of the Saleshunt flow (enrichment, Key Decision Makers, outreach) works the same as a list discovered from scratch.

How to import

In the Discover chat, click the Import a list button at the left of the input field. The Import List modal opens.

Drop your CSV or Excel file into the drag-and-drop area (or click Browse to pick from Finder), then click Upload. Your imported rows land in a new List, ready to enrich.

What to include in your CSV

Saleshunt reads your column headers automatically — name them clearly (e.g. Company name, Website, Country) and Saleshunt picks them up. You only strictly need one column to import, but how much you include changes how clean the result is.

Column headerRequired?Why it matters
Company name✅ RequiredThe minimum. Everything else can be looked up
Website (or Domain)Highly recommendedThe single best identifier. With it, Saleshunt knows which "Acme" is yours — the consultancy in NL, not the bakery in TX. Critical for accurate enrichment and follow-up research
CountryRecommendedDisambiguates companies that share names across geographies, and lets you scope follow-up questions ("their local hiring activity")
Any other contextOptionalIndustry, employee count, internal notes — anything in the import flows through to your List as a column. Saleshunt won't override your data when it enriches
TIP

Websites are the secret weapon. A name like "Acme Solutions" matches dozens of real companies. "acme-solutions.nl" matches exactly one. If your CSV has websites, every downstream step — Key Decision Maker lookup, custom Column enrichment, signal monitoring — gets sharper and faster.

If you only have company names

Don't have websites handy? Import what you have, then run enrichment to fill them in:

  1. Import the CSV with the company names you have
  2. Add a Column for Website — Saleshunt's AI agent looks up the most likely domain for each row
  3. Spot-check the rows where the agent flagged low confidence
  4. Continue enrichment from there

Same trick works for country, industry, or any other identifying field you didn't bring with you.

What happens after import

Once your List is in Saleshunt:

  • Enrich — add Columns for any research question worth answering for every company
  • Find Key Decision Makers — surface the right person at each company with verified email and LinkedIn. See Finding Key Decision Makers
  • Reach out — turn the List into a Campaign with personalised outreach

Your imported rows behave identically to chat-discovered rows from here on.
