What Are Signals?
Natural-language triggers that watch your accounts and turn the right moment into personalised outreach.
Signals is in preview. If you'd like to try it, get in touch and we'll set you up.
Signals watch your target accounts for the moments that matter — a funding round, a key hire, a product launch — and turn them into personalised outreach automatically. Instead of checking accounts by hand, you describe what to watch for in plain language and Saleshunt keeps an eye out.
Why it's useful
Most prospecting data goes stale. You find great accounts, then nothing happens until you remember to follow up. Signals keep those accounts working for you: when the timing is right, the outreach is already drafted and waiting for your review.
How it works
- You describe what to watch for in plain language — "announced funding in the past 30 days", "posted sales roles in the last week"
- Saleshunt checks your accounts on a schedule (weekly by default)
- When something genuinely changes, it drafts personalised outreach with that context built in
- You review and approve before anything sends
You're always in the loop. Drafts wait for your review — Signals never sends on its own.
What you can watch for
The real power is that you can describe any change in plain language — you're not limited to a fixed list. To get you started, there are a few common categories: Hiring, Funding & Growth, News & PR, Leadership, and Product.
When you set one up, pick a category to see example phrasings, then make them your own.
What you set up
A signal takes a few things:
- The accounts — the companies you pick to watch
- The signal — the change to look for, in plain language
- How often — daily through annually
- When it's met — keep watching, or stop after the first hit
You can start one from a List (select companies → Actions → Signals) or from the Signals tab. See Creating Signals.
Example: "Watch these accounts for funding announced in the past 30 days, check weekly, and stop once it fires."
